  1. Teachers can use technology in the content areas through movie clips, video clips, Smart Board technology, or any number of different technologies that are available. In a Smart Board Math Lesson the teacher could use layering for students to be able to understand order of operation both in chronological order, number skipping, or backwards order. Technology integration provides additional learning experiences in almost any lesson as it provides a visual aid, if Smart Boards are being used students who are tactile and kinesthetic are able to learn through touching the board and engaging in their learning, and auditory learners can hear videos or movies to help them learn.

  2. Teachers can use technology in content areas several different ways such as video clips, power points, pod casts, etc. If a teacher wanted to use technology during a math class they could make interactive smart board lessons. I teacher could also share short digital stories explaining what ever method/process they are introducing. Technology integration provides additional learning experiences in all lessons.

    1. Teachers can use technology in the classroom through the use of the Smart Board. This provides for interactive lesson that can be used in any of the connect areas. Students are engaged and can actively participate in the lessons. Showing short video clips and interactive quizzes are great tools in the classroom.
One example of using this in the content areas would be social studies. Students could practice mapping skills. The teacher could scramble the states in the US up and the students would have to arrange them back in the correct order to form the USA.

  3. There are so many ways teachers can incorporate technology in different content areas. For example, math is a great subject to integrate technology. Smartboard lessons give students the opportunity to interact with math by solving problems and watching videos and graphics that give visual explanations. Also internet games can be helpful since students are so tech savy.
