What are hardware issues and concerns to be aware of in preparing and presenting multimedia presentations or projects?

  1. There are many forms of media that can be used to enhance instructional presentation. For example using a white board which allows students to come up and interact with the board. Document cameras can allow you to blow up documents so everyone in the class can clearly see whatever it is you are showing. Showing video clips in your classroom can help your students see and understands things that would otherwise be hard. (atoms)
Some forms of hardware issues and concerns to be aware of in preparing and presenting multimedia presentations or projects are hardware problems, compatibility issues, and electric outages.

  2. Several forms of media can be used to enhance instructional presentations. Using short video clips in lesson plans or PowerPoint presentations are great to keep students engaged in the material. Smart Boards are great tools to use in the classroom and invite students to come up to the board to answer questions or present about a topic. Many classrooms also have document camera which allow one to show documents and photos to the class, you can zoom in on information or images to make them larger. Hardware issues to be concerned about are technical difficulties. Sometimes the internet may go down, or the website for the video clip may not be able to be accessed on a computer in the school. You may also want to save presentation on your laptop and also have it available on a Flash drive as a backup.
